Kudzanai Karidza is a Zimbabwean-born, Atlanta-raised designer and creative director whose practice exists at the intersection of heritage, reconstruction, and contemporary expression. Rooted in a family legacy of tailoring and dressmaking, his approach to fashion is instinctive, deconstructing the familiar and reimagining it through a distinctly modern lens.

Through GardedNvelope, Kudzanai creates androgynous, one-of-one garments that blur the boundaries between fashion, art, and identity. Repurposed materials become sculptural silhouettes, while each piece carries a sense of rarity, intention, and transformation. His work is less about following fashion than creating something that could only exist once.
